A handmade linen bridal gown with abstract fluted drapery inspired by swans.
This vintage linen has an off white grey tone for the classic and gothic brides. The bodice has an empire bust with a square low cut sweetheart neckline. Featuring a hand pleated choker accessory piece supported with silk organza, and paired with 4 silver grommets.
The skirt contains hundreds of yards of vintage lace and ruffled linen trim and skirt layers; with additional off-white layers of ruffled tulle. Each gown features a similar lace trim but unique to you, as each gown requires a full bolt of vintage trimming. Brides are encouraged to contact to review the current selection of laces.
This dress features hundreds of hand sewn pleats draped one by one on the bodice and skirt as well. The skirt's top layer has hand placed cowls and hand stitched arched drapery.
The back of the bodice is completed with a hand sewn detachable linen bow hemmed with a micro-purl edge to match the skirt's ruffled layers.
The bodice is complete with an inner spiral and flat steel corset, and handmade foam bust cups that can be customized to fit. The cups also feature horizontal and vertical spiral steel boning for a supportive fit.
Completed with a cathedral length train (bustled in photos), the inner skirt layers contain loops and ties for customizable bustle effects.
Brides are encouraged to contact for customizable measurements, or free to order with the available size chart. This piece can take up to 6-8 months to complete; with local fittings available in the NYC area.
